Items which can’t be thrown into a skip include asbestos, gas cylinders, animal waste, explosives, car batteries (and other batteries), oil of any kind, medical waste, chemicals, paint and glue, televisions, laptops, phones, electrical items, light bulbs, hospital waste and tyres.
