GD Environmental can offer a wide range of skips to meet any household waste removal project. The diagrams shown above provide an overview of our available skips. We will deliver the skip to your chosen location. Ie. driveway, garden, building site or privately-owned land. However, please be aware that if you require the skip to be placed in a publicly owned area such as the roadside, you will require a permit, which will incur an additional cost.
Yes. You will require a permit from the Council which incurs an additional charge. However, we can liaise with the council on your behalf to arrange a permit in readiness for the delivery of your skip.
Yes, there are restrictions. Examples of items you cannot use a skip to dispose of include asbestos, plasterboard, fridge freezers, car batteries, tyres, gas cylinders, paint tins (both empty or full), food waste, fluorescent tubes, liquids, television sets or computer monitors. If you’re unsure about an item you wish to dipsose of, please call us and we will be happy to talk through your options.
The only requirement is that you don’t overload the skip. The skips can be level loaded only.
The skip hire period for private customers is one week. Although, if you do wish to rent a skip over a longer period of time, we will be happy to discuss your options when you place your booking.
